Variety is the spice of life. Most specialists recommend purchasingdifferent kinds of toys for your dog so that you can discoverwhich of them they likes.

Toys play a great role in the emotional & mental developmentof puppies. They also act as solutions for inappropriatechewing, boredom, & separation anxiety. In fact most dogtrainers recommend that new puppy owners buy lots of toys forthe latest member of the relatives.

You might be surprised with the answers. Berry, my 95 poundSpanish Shepherd loves cuddling up his stuffed animals. Whowould have thought!

Trainers & behaviorists recommend that their clients have sets of toys.

Primary toys are your dog's favourite. Leave these out for yourdog when your not around. This helps reduce separation anxietybecause your dog associates you leaving together with his getting hisfavourite toy.

Secondary toys are the toys to have out when you are home. Besure to pick up the primary toys.

& finally the third set of toys is used to rotate with thethe first set. Trainers recommend swapping toys every three daysor so. This helps keep your dog interested in all his toys.

& always pick toys wisely. Try to buy toys that match yourdog's size. & always make sure there's no dangerous littlepieces that your dog can chew loose & swallow or worse yet -choke on.
