Fluffy, Friendly Poodles

Poodles conveniently come in sizes. Standard size, being the largest size poodle, has a height of 15 inches & up. Miniature size ranges between ten & 15 inches. For the true lap dog lover, the toy size poodle is ideal, measuring ten inches & under.

Poodles make great show canines with their beautiful coats. Because they are basically trained they do well in the agility ring. In fact they appear to enjoy it. Poodles are cheerful, happy canines. They are usually obedient when trained. Standard size poodles appear to be more independent where smaller sizes like to be closer to their owners. They need medium exercise, standard size poodles may need more as they like to run about.
Poodles are usually not noisy when trained. A well bred poodle usually won't be aggressive with people they know. Although they can be protective of their owners. Smaller size poodles may be shy towards people & canines they have no idea. Do not force them, let them adjust slowly on their terms, or they may strike out.
Poodles come in a variety of beautiful colors. White, cream, apricot, blue, silver, chocolate & black are most common. There's some other, off, rarer colors. is called a party, which is black & white. The other is called a phantom, which has grey that fades in to a white.
