10 Bunny Rabbit Facts

1: Rabbits are crepuscular (most active at dawn & twilight).

2: Neither wild nor domestic bunnies hibernate.
3: A rabbit may tear apart her cage out of mating frustration? If your bunny is not spayed or neutered, you ought to get her/him altered as soon as feasible.
4: Bunnies cannot throw up. They can gag, but they can not vomit.
5: Rabbit can snore!
6: Bunnies can jump 36 inches & higher. Bunnies are excellent at leaping.
7: Wild bunnies can be found on every continent except Australia & Antarctica. (While rabbits are not indigenous to Australia, there IS now a sizable population of feral rabbits brought to the continent by European ancestors.)
8: Wild rabbits sleep in burrows.
9: A group of bunnies is called a herd.
10: Less than ten percent of all abandoned wild kid bunnies survive.
